Back To School for Her | Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

I've been using the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for her "back to school" clothes since she started school! The sale is different from other sales because it's new styles on sale before the season starts. Smart. Early access started last week for card holders. And public access begins July 21st.  I usually do her picks and my picks in this blog post every year but this year it was a collaborative effort.  We are a team. :) I hope we can help with a little inspiration because the sale can be overwhelming!

First up is her "winter" coat.  We haven't had much of a winter the last couple years here in Houston so this year we're going light! I like this versatile jacket because the shape will hold, it's stiff and the cute metallic pink detail on the zipper is just for her. ;)

Long Hooded Jacket, I buy jackets big so they'll last a couple years, she's wearing a size M.

This is her favorite outfit of the bunch and I'm pretty sure she'll be wearing it on the first day of school.

I like the movement! The dress and shoes are from the sale but the jacket is ours.  However, the Nordstrom Sale has options, too!

Knit Dress, she's wearing a size M and the arm holes are a little long.  Ballet Flat, she's size 3.

I think this outfit might be my favorite, so relaxed and easy but so fun with the pink pom pom sneakers! And what a deal, this dress is at $21.90!

Shirt Dress, she had to size up because of the length but it still looks great at a size L.  Sneakers, she's wearing a size 3.

Do you see the pink star on these booties?! Lucky girl! And these leggings are so soft and stretchy. Lucky lucky girl!

The top can be worn with anything, mix and match is the main goal here!

Leggings and top, she sized up to a L. Booties, true to size, she's a 3.

Something tells me I should go back and take advantage of the sale for a little more of their athleasure for her. My friends with older girls say this is all they want to wear. She's very excited about the thumb holes!

Top and leggings, she's wearing size M.

"I'm just going to wear a cute top with jeans," said every girl ever, I'm sure she will, too, soon!  She tried on several jeans and most of them gaped at the waist in the back.  These gaped the least.

Jeans, she's wearing a size 10. Top, she's wearing a L.

Whoever designed these loafers, high five! Classic and fantastically fun! And surprisingly comfy!

Loafers, she's wearing a size 3.

Peace, love and inexpensive! This top is $13.90.

The envelope back of this shirt says to me, my girl is growing up!

Top, she's wearing a M. Leggings, size L. Booties, size 3.

She must've been inspired by her flowy outfit to use her fidget spinner as a prop. ;)

Top and skirt, she's wearing size M. Slip-on sneakers, size 3.

A cozy sweater for the drastically changing temperatures of her school, check! I wish they had this in my size!

Striped Cardigan, she's wearing a size M.

The shirt and dress here are a set, they are sewn together at the top of the strap! Throw on the dress and slip on the shoes, I bet she could be ready for school in 5.0 seconds, yes! And she talked me into these fun shoes, good thing they were $28.90.

Dress set, she's wearing size M. Slip-on sneakers, she's wearing a size 3.

At the top of this post, I said we were a team and as you can see, she was a trooper and helped me with ALL of these photos. Thank you, Sweetie Pie!

Next post is Back to School for Him with the Nordstrom Sale (early access ends July 20). I'll also be sharing my purchases from the sale's home section for my #TITYNSettlesIn project! Coming very soon!
